The TY BSc Sports and Exercise Science students successfully organized a two-day seminar-cum-workshop on Sports Performance Assessment Equipment and Technology. The initiative, aligned with NAAC Criteria VII (Institutional Values and Best Practices), focused on peer-led, experiential, and real-time learning to bridge the gap between theory and practice in sports science.

Students gained hands-on exposure to advanced equipment such as Kienvent Force Plates, Speed Timing Gates, Dynamometers, Power Cycle, Airbike, Rowing Machine, and Life Fitness Treadmill.

Through live demonstrations and peer-to-peer learning, participants developed practical skills in analyzing key performance metrics like force, speed, and endurance, while also exploring applications in athlete monitoring, strength & conditioning, and rehabilitation.

Guided by Mr Gaurav Thakur, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Dr Nitin Khanvilkar, Head Faculty, BSc Sports and Exercise Science, the workshop encouraged critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional readiness, preparing students for careers in sports science and performance research.
