Somaiya Sports Academy and Somaiya institutions proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of their athletes at the 5th Maharashtra State Finswimming Championship 2025.
Surabhi Shinde from S. K. Somaiya Vinay Mandir Junior College secured a gold medal in the 400m Bi-Fins (Junior Girls A Group), while Vinayak Kuvar from Somaiya School of Basic & Applied Sciences dominated the Senior A Group with two golds in the 800m Bi-Fins and 200m Surface Swimming, along with two silvers in the 200m and 400m Bi-Fins. Representing Somaiya Sports Academy, Vedant Raja earned a silver in the 50m Surface Monofin and qualified for the National Finswimming Event, while Daksh Chavan claimed a bronze in the 50m Surface Monofin, a silver in the 100m Bi-Fins, and also secured qualification for the Nationals.
