A proud and historic moment for Somaiya Vinay Mandir High School, Sameerwadi, as its girls’ Kabaddi team secured first place at the Zonal Level Sports Meet, held at the Government Urdu High School ground in Kengerimaddi.

This marks the first-ever kabaddi victory for the girls’ team in the school’s 50-year history, bringing immense pride to the institution and community.

This milestone was made possible by the dedication and guidance of Physical Education teachers Mahatesh Puravant and Basavaraj Kurade, along with team managers Ningappa Rathod and Santosh Mugali, whose support played a crucial role in shaping the champions.

We at Somaiya Sports Academy are extremely proud of this achievement, a golden moment that will forever be etched in the school’s sporting history.
