Somaiya Judokas Shine at Sub-Junior State and National Judo Championships 2024-25

Somaiya’s young judokas delivered a stellar performance at the Sub-Junior State and National Judo Championships 2024-25, bringing home multiple medals and making the academy proud.

Gold Medalists, including Krishna Waikar (30 kg) and Anushka Devre (32 kg), are selected for the state, which will be held at Sangali.

Silver medalists included Samrth Dhangre (40 kg) and Shubham Wagh (30 kg). Meanwhile, Bronze medalists were Priya Tikal (40 kg) and Swayam Das (Under 55 kg), who also secured qualification for the Sub-Junior Nationals Selection Trials 2025-26.

Additionally, Ranveer Khandekar (5th place, Under 40 kg), Kaushik Rathod (Under 40 kg), Priya Panchara (Under 40 kg), and Soniya Chavda (Under 32 kg) proudly represented at the championship.

This tournament was a testament to our growing Judo talent pool, training excellence, and dedication to nurturing champions at Somaiya Sports Academy.
